Facebookの「Arkaos GrandVj user group - Los Angeles」に開発者からGrandVJ 2.1 betaの投稿がありました。

2.1の変更点は以下の通り

Full support of Yosemite
-Improved playback of Quartz composer effects
-Support for Akai APC40 MKII and APC Key 25 controllers with feedbacks
-Support for AlphaSphere controller
-5 new effects (Beat glow, Hue masking, Earthquake, Color Cycle Hue, Color Cycle Luminance)
-Auto Play mode (to play all visuals in a bank or on a keyboard)
-Timecode synchronization support (look for TC play mode and send SMPTE audio signal)
-Random jump play mode (to play randomly various parts of a movie)
-New Blend Modes
-Fix for preview issue
-Display Statistics (Preferences->Advanced and will display on the output)
-International text font effects (for foreign languages)
-New Audio Sync time reference (audio priority synchronization)
-Fix for video acquisition on Mac OS X
-Fix for the VideoMapper Mode on MacOS 10.8
-VideoMapper runs again on MacOS 10.7
-Improved handling of big libraries
-Some improved MIDI mappable controls
-Better handling of audio only files

And many other more minor improvements

フレームワークやらなんやら開発環境変えたので、beta版出すからテストしてねーという事みたい。

個人的に気になったのはオートプレイでちょっとテストをしてみた。

GrandVJ 2.1のオートプレイは追加されたAUTOボタンを押すとbankの映像が順番に切り替わるというもの。BPMもTAPで設定可。どのレイヤーをAUTOにするとか何拍で切り替えるかは鉛筆ボタンで変更可能。 pic.twitter.com/F1T4H5sOTe

１レイヤーをオートプレイ専用にできるので、上のレイヤーでエフェクトや他のムービーかぶせると今まで以上にアクティブなVJできるかも。

またライブテキストにマルチ言語版が追加され、日本語も表示可能に！！
